How do I start to prepare for a wedding in St. Maarten?

On the Beach, in a Church, Hotel, Restaurant, or at our Historical Park. To name but a few.

Why would I want to do my wedding in St. Maarten?

St. Maarten offers such a unique flair to all because of its Dutch and French sides, that many calls us the Diamond in the Caribbean, with so many choices on our little intimate island.

How many days prior to our wedding date are we suppose to be on the Island? 

We suggest arriving at least 2 days before your wedding date.

How can we get to St. Maarten?

American Airlines is our international carrier to and from the United States.

From Canada - Air Transat, air Canada
From Europe - KLM, Air France to name a few

How long does it take for us to receive our Marriage Certificate?

Approximately one month after the Civil Ceremony, the Dutch certificate has to then be translated into English then the certificate will be sent via express mail to you. 

What requirements do you have for Witnesses?

A witness has to be at least 18 years old and needs to submit a copy of a passport and birth certificate. You will need a minimum of six witnesses. If need be, Sint Maarten Marry-Me.com will supply them.
